Its funny how fast Niner fans hop off the bandwagon, one loss and everybody’s back for Alex Smith’s throat, just like old times. I don’t know, but i saw progress. Old Alex Smith would’ve fumbled away and throw into double coverage, but new Alex Smith used his legs and made plays by himself. It’s not his fault that his receivers weren’t present, and we gotta give the Giants D credit. 

I knew the 49ers had a little bit of losing spirit in them…no way they got away with all those wins this season, and that good ol’ niners losing spirit showed up today. For once, a team did not play stupid (sorta) against the niners. 

Niners man…times ticking…take advantage of the free time we’re giving you. You guys got a great squad.

I don’t know man…if i was a niner fan, i’d be happy with home field, but you get a Giants team that’s on fire. It’s all about getting hot at the right time, and that’s true for every sport.

It’s going to be a good game, but Niners won’t get lucky and start off 17-0…if they do, then it’s a wrap. And if the Giants aren’t as dumb as the Saints, VD won’t get too many balls heading his way next Sunday. 

That game was epic. The Graham TD was awesome, but i knew there was too much time for the Niners to score. There is one difference with the Niner team this year…they know how to win…sadly. 

Its a bit awkward here at the household since my Dad’s a Niner fan and i’m here rooting hard for the Saints.

This week is going to SUCK.

49ers/Saints (My preview)

If you follow me or know me well enough, you’d know that I absolutely hate the 49ers. I hate everything Niner related, except my relatives. I could make an entire post hating on Alex Smith and Harbaugh (sp.), or talk about bandwagon fans, but I’ll just stay one hunnid on this matchup. I think the 49ers will win.

A lot of people are underestimating how good this 49er defense is. Best run defense period. I don’t know how they landed Justin Smith and Aldon Smith, or Bowman, but they get the job done in the front. Saints won’t get any run game going at all. Then you get to their secondary with Rodgers and Goldson, both in the Pro Bowl. Plus Willis patrolling around, you can’t expect Brees to throw all over this defense.

Then you mix that with the crowd in SF. They get loud there, i’ve experienced that myself quite a few times. I don’t quite remember the Niners playoff atmosphere (shots), but it should be loud. The Saints offense is going to have a lot of trouble. 

The key to this game is Alex Smith. The defense will definitely be there, but can the 49ers get the necessary touchdowns to win the game?

I’m over thinking about “what if.” I’ve always been happy with Smith on the Niners. All he needed was a real coach and now we got one. In Harbaugh we trust.  

I’m just happy Luck will not fall in the Niners hands

Put da team on your back do award (WEEK 1)

Explanation: This is not necessarily the players who earned the most fantasy points or any type of stats….this is simply for players who simply put da team on they back.

For the first week, I’ll award Niner, Ted Ginn Jr., Packers Randall Cobb, and Patriots Tom Brady, Wes Welker for week 1.

Teddy Ginndergrass brought back a punt and kick return to help the Niners beat the Hawks.

Cobb returned a kickoff (108 yards, nfl record) and caught a TD pass in his first NFL game to help the Pack. And he’s the first 90’s baby to play in NFL.

Tom Brady and Wes Welker’s 99 yard touchdown is the definition of puttin da team on your back do…where most teams would run, the Patriots came out with an empty backfield and invited the blitz. Tom Brady lobbed it to Wes, who did the rest, including a lil stiff arm that not only sent the Miami defender on the ground….but sent him packing…literally, like he got cut from the team fam…
