so i went to the giants game today…not only to relax, but to get my baseball fix…my dad ordered tix to the game on the 25th….of August….to celebrate my mom’s bday….too far, needed to get my orange and black now.
The game was great. I would’ve loved to see Cain go lights out, but instead we got offense…a LOT of offense from both teams. This was very enjoyable from the seats we got. Wasn’t foul ball territory, but we had a great view of everything (dugout, bullpen, mccovey cove, every player, etc.)
Anyway, we won, which made today even awesomer …prolly might grab tickets to the giants/nationals game to catch Bryce Harper maybe

Its funny how fast Niner fans hop off the bandwagon, one loss and everybody’s back for Alex Smith’s throat, just like old times. I don’t know, but i saw progress. Old Alex Smith would’ve fumbled away and throw into double coverage, but new Alex Smith used his legs and made plays by himself. It’s not his fault that his receivers weren’t present, and we gotta give the Giants D credit.
I knew the 49ers had a little bit of losing spirit in them…no way they got away with all those wins this season, and that good ol’ niners losing spirit showed up today. For once, a team did not play stupid (sorta) against the niners.
Niners man…times ticking…take advantage of the free time we’re giving you. You guys got a great squad.
012212 ♥ 9I don’t know man…if i was a niner fan, i’d be happy with home field, but you get a Giants team that’s on fire. It’s all about getting hot at the right time, and that’s true for every sport.
It’s going to be a good game, but Niners won’t get lucky and start off 17-0…if they do, then it’s a wrap. And if the Giants aren’t as dumb as the Saints, VD won’t get too many balls heading his way next Sunday.

So Jonathan Sanchez got traded for Melky Cabrera. After coming off a terrible year of offense, it’s clear that this offseason’s goal is to acquire more bats.
I’m not too familiar with Cabrera, but looking off his stats, he’s coming off his best year offensively. He scores runs.
What we gave up was Jonathan Sanchez, who had an off year battling with injuries and control. I wasn’t sure if he’d ever return 100%, so it’s nice that we gave him up.
